The work presented in this book deals with the Design and Development of Electronic Measurement System for the Velocity of Detonation of Bulk Explosives. It offers a view towards design and implementation of VOD measurement unit and indigenous sensor, which is easy to install/ setup with reduced susceptibility to electrical noise. Velocity of Detonation (VOD) is an important parameter of explosive materials. The performance of explosives invariably depend on the velocity of detonation. The rate at which the detonation wave travels through an explosive column is called the Velocity of Detonation (VOD).
